The mountain has several managed inns and hotels for visitors who have come for Feldbergโs fruits. Skiers can enjoy the ski trails that run 50km long and reach up to the black level. Feldberg is the largest ski resort outside the Alps and is fitted with cable cars and views you can appreciate from everywhere.

14. Grand Massif, France
The Grand Masiff area of the French Alps is made up of five ski resorts; Flaine, Les Carroz, Morillon, Samoรซns and Sixt-Fer-ร -Cheval.

In 2023-23, they offered free skiing to under 8’s; we’re waiting to see if this will be offered again in 2023-24! They also offer an early bird discounted ticket to beginners who are sticking to the easier slopes. This makes Grand Massif exceptionally good value if you’re travelling as a young family or first-timers.
